I am planning to host the first Mayor's Chess challenge at Town Hall this fall. I would like authorization from the Council to be able to host the chess event at Town Hall or at one of our community centers. My office will work on sponsorships and coordinate the date etc…. Additionally, instead of the gala, I would like to host a Miami Lakes Casino Night for Charity. Also, I want to have a conversation with my colleagues regarding which community project or organization this event will benefit.
