I would like to discuss with my colleagues the implementation of a required town hall meeting before any site plan, preliminary plat, Comprehensive Plan Amendment, rezoning of large properties or final plat are presented to the council for a vote. The final plat would require a town hall meeting only if it varies from the preliminary plat.

I believe it would be beneficiary to everyone involved to hear what our residents have to say in an organized forum with all parties involved available to answer any questions.
