Pursuant to FS 102.141, The canvassing board shall be composed of the Town Clerk, a county judge who shall act as chair, and the Mayor.Being that the Mayorhas opposition in the election being canvassed, an alternative canvasing board member must be appointed.

Mrs. Perla Tabares-Hantmanis a qualified elector of the Town, has expressed an interestto serve on the board, and has served on the canvassing board previously. It is recommended that this resolution be adopted.
