It is recommended that Town Council adopt the millage rate for Fiscal Year 2016-17 at 2.3518 mills, which is $2.3518 per $1,000 of assessed property value. This is the same millage rate as adopted for the prior year and one of thelowestin Miami-Dade County. The proposed millage rate is expected to yield $6,278,000 in ad valorem revenueat 95% of value based on the July 1, 2016 estimated Property Tax Roll, as provided by Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser.
