As per my discussion with the Town Manager, we cannot mandate payments to lake associations. However, the town can set a minimum lake maintenance standard and enforcement mechanism similar to how we require that properties be kept to a minimum standard.

At the request of residents with lake front properties, Iwouldlikefor the council to have a discussion on the topic, share our points of views, and have the manager provide us with some insight on how this could potentially be achieved.
