I became aware that in the past and present administration, our staff has been forced to make changes to envisioned beautification projects due to unforeseen circumstances. Because residents vote on particular designs, it is important that any changes go through the people's representatives. This is not meant to tie management's hands, it is to ensure that the people's choices are respected and that if they must change, the change must go to their representatives.
