This workshop is to discuss proposed amendments to the Town of Miami Lakes Sign Code (Article IX of the Land Development Code). At the December 2015 Regular Council Meeting, the Town Attorney recommended that the Sign Code be amended to conform with the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case of Reed v. Town of Gilbert, issued in June 2015. Staff will explain how we propose to amend the Sign Code in response to this decision.
