I would like to request that the council consider changing the order of business on our council meeting agenda. I would like to move "Order of Business(Deferrals/additions/deletions)" prior to "Public Comments".
It has been brought to our attention several times that it would be wise to change this order to keep public comments relevant to the items that will later be discussed. On many instances we have residents take the time to address us regarding items that are subsequently pulled from the agenda. This change would help us to stay on topic as well as decrease the length of our meetings.
