The Town's Youth Activities Task Force raised$10,000 for the Movies at the Park Series in sponsor dollars, which were added to this line item, increasing the amount to $31,473. At their meeting in January, theyrequested to reduce this line item by $6,000 to $25,473 and transfer that amount to the following line items:
$4,000 to Bike Rodeo
$1,000 to Sport Palooza
$1,000 to Spring Fling
In addition, the committee is requesting to create a new line item “Relay for Life” and would like to move $250 of the funds raised in popcorn sales to participate in the relay.
